Drew Robinson
Drew Robinson is a co-board chair for Amplify. A few of his responsibilities include managing sponsorship outreach and beverage sales for the annual Decatur festival. Drew’s day job is as senior vice president at Newmark, where he provides consultation and valuation services in the commercial real estate world. Drew was born and raised in Decatur, where he still lives with his wife and three daughters.
Christine Mahin
Christine has served as the Festival Director for the Amplify Decatur Music Festival since 2017, overseeing every aspect of the event, from operations, to customer experience, to marketing. In that time, the festival has more than doubled its budget, attendance, and impact.
Christine also serves as Vice President Lenz, a marketing agency located in Decatur. Previously, she worked in New York in the film and television industry as a field producer and post-production supervisor.
Mike Killeen
Mike’s founding vision for Amplify My Community was to leverage the universal love of music to combat poverty at the local level. He remains actively involved in the organization. Mike is an avid music fan and performing musician who usually listens to Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Uncle Tupelo, and Vic Chesnutt. His day job is as President and CEO of Lenz, a marketing agency, where he helps steer the Amplify brand. Mike earned a Journalism degree at the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia College. He lives in Decatur with his wife Jessica and children, Liam, Emily, and Henry.
Charlie Bailey
Charlie is a founding board member of Amplify, who believes deeply in our mission to leverage love of music to make concrete positive change in peoples’ lives. Charlie is an 8th generation Georgian from Harris County, who has spent his career fighting for justice as a prosecutor and now as a personal injury attorney. He practices law at the firm of Cook & Connelly. In 2022, Charlie won the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor and in 2018 won the Democratic Nomination for Attorney General. Before his campaign for Attorney General, Charlie served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, and prior to that, Charlie worked as an attorney in the law firm founded and managed by former Governor Roy Barnes. Charlie got his law degree, religion degree, and political science degree from the University of Georgia. He lives in Grant Park with his wife Pallavi and their dog Hazel.
Sy Burnett
Sy is an Atlanta native and lives in Decatur with his wife, Beth (also a Board member), and two kids, Lily and Sam. Sy has been a part of the Amplify team for years, volunteering as indefatigable Gate Captain, taking tickets and being overall festival MVP.
He’s also a member of the band Polly Holliday, performing at Amplify events on Decatur Square and Eddie’s Attic. He counts it as an honor to serve on the Amplify My Community Board and to help the organization fulfill its incredible and essential mission.
Rachel Cushing
Rachel has been central to Amplify’s success for years, embodying the “no-job-too-big, no-job-too-small” attitude that we aspire to. She has successfully promoted our concerts and festivals through her expertise in social media and digital advertising, run and managed the staff headquarters at the Amplify Decatur Music Festival, sold merch at our Vs. events, and so much more. When an unforeseen challenge or opportunity arises, we turn to Rachel, and she always delivers. When not volunteering for Amplify, Rachel works at Lenz, where she serves as Media Director.
Beth Kelhoffer
Beth Kelhoffer is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Amplify Decatur Music Festival. Beth lives in Decatur, Georgia with her husband, two kids, and wonderdog. She received her J.D. in 1999 and worked at the U.S. Department of Justice defending constitutional challenges to federal statutes from 2003-2010. She currently works for a federal agency dedicated to advancing our nation’s health and human services, and is the lead singer for the band, Polly Holliday.
Jacqueline Moore
Jacqueline Moore has been the heart behind Decatur’s community events since 2019 as the Special Events Coordinator. Recently, she earned her Certified Festival and Events Associate (CFEA) credentials after a 2-year program with the IFEA Academy. Her community involvement extends to an internship in Community and Economic Development and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity-DeKalb County. Jacqueline is a loving wife and mom of three wonderful children. Her love for family time, combined with a passion for exploring new places, adds a special touch to everything she does.
Willie "Chuck" Shivers
Willie "Chuck" Shivers is the tour manager for the Grammy Award-winning gospel group, The Blind Boys of Alabama.
Chuck is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Music Education and graduate work at Georgia State. He was an educator in the Atlanta Public School system for 12 years before embarking on his musical journey which led him to his current position with the Blind Boys of Alabama in 2004.
In his off time Chuck owns and operates Quality Sound Studio, and has produced artists such as Big Gip with Goodie Mob, Angie Stone, Young Joc, and Bobby Brown. On and off the road, Willie scouts talent, both conventional and non-conventional, for local and national venues and events. Chuck is known in the community as a strong family man and a good friend.
Bill Taylor
Bill Taylor has been a proud supporter of Amplify My Community since the very beginning of the organization. Back in 2011, Bill’s Decatur-based band, The Bitteroots, performed at the very first Amplify show and has performed or participated in dozens of Amplify shows since then.
Bill is a long-time resident of Decatur with his wife, Allison, and their 3 sons. Bill’s “day job” is as VP of Customer Growth and Development for the UK-based software company, Quality Clouds. On most weekends, he can be found playing bass guitar all over the southeast with Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, The Core, and Jupiter Coyote.
